Main tasks:

  • Act as Global Process Owner and Subject Matter Expert for Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Inventory Management within the SAP S/4HANA service landscape
  • Own end-to-end process design, governance, and integration for P2P and Inventory processes
  • Define, govern, and maintain global process standards, templates, and controlled local variants
  • Ensure consistent process execution across the service network while accommodating local legal and operational requirements
  • Ensure close alignment with adjacent global processes, including Order-to-Cash, Finance, Controlling, and Service Inventory
  • Safeguard end-to-end process integration, data consistency, and financial integrity within SAP S/4HANA
  • Build, enable, and sustain a global P2P & Inventory Power User community
  • Foster distributed ownership of process execution, knowledge sharing, and operational support
  • Define process KPIs, monitor performance, identify deviations, and drive corrective actions through governance mechanisms
  • Analyze user, stakeholder, and performance feedback to identify process and system improvement opportunities
  • Prioritize improvement initiatives and lead their execution in collaboration with SAP S/4HANA delivery and application teams
  • Represent P2P and Inventory processes in cross-functional initiatives, country-specific changes, and regulatory or finance-driven programs
  • Ensure controlled and aligned implementation of changes within SAP S/4HANA
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories in close collaboration with IS and application owners
  • Act as authorization owner for Requests for Change (RfCs), ensuring governance, prioritization, compliance, and alignment with global standards and SAP release strategy
  • Ensure business testing, user acceptance, regression impact assessment, and final sign-off for process changes and SAP releases
  • Design and deliver end-user and Power User training and enablement activities in collaboration with global training teams

Your qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent higher education in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Advanced functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA with hands-on experience in Procure-to-Pay and Inventory Management processes
  • Strong knowledge of purchasing, goods receipt, inventory movements, valuation, and invoice verification in a service operations context
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end process integration across P2P, Inventory, Finance Accounting, and Order-to-Cash
  • Experience defining and governing global process standards, templates, and controlled local variants across multiple countries and organizations
  • Proven ability to drive process governance, user adherence, and change management in complex, international ERP environments
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Service Operations, and IT
  • Exposure to operational excellence, continuous improvement, process automation, and structured improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret KPIs, identify root causes, and translate insights into actionable improvements
  • Strong collaboration and people skills, with experience building and enabling Power User communities
  • Structured, self-driven, and persistent working style with strong communication and influencing capabilities
  • International business experience and intercultural awareness
  • Professional-level in English and German
  • Willingness to travel internationally on a limited basis (5-10%)
