Main tasks:

  • Shape, refine, and implement a company-wide IT strategy aligned with business objectives and omnichannel expansion
  • Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary IT teams, including international and external partners
  • Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on technology, digital transformation, and innovation initiatives
  • Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks, standards, and policies to ensure scalability and consistency
  • Oversee BI and analytics platforms to foster insight-driven decision-making
  • Ensure high-quality, reliable data availability across sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, and operations
  • Promote strong data governance, data quality standards, and self-service analytics capabilities
  • Own and manage the SAP ecosystem (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, BW, and related modules) supporting finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and sales
  • Lead SAP enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and continuous improvements
  • Align business processes with ERP best practices and enterprise architecture standards
  • Provide technical leadership and development support for D2C and B2B e-commerce platforms
  • Ensure seamless integration between web platforms, SAP ERP, CRM, CDP, CDC, marketing automation tools, and analytics systems
  • Optimize digital performance, scalability, availability, and user experience across all online channels
  • Define and enforce a comprehensive IT security strategy across applications, infrastructure, networks, and data
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal security requirements (e.g., GDPR)
  • Oversee cybersecurity risk management, incident response, and disaster recovery planning
  • Govern global network architecture, cloud environments, on-premise systems, and end-user infrastructure
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and cost-efficient IT operations worldwide
  • Manage vendors, outsourcing partners, and service-level agreements
  • Own and manage the IT budget, including cost optimization and strategic investment planning
  • Prioritize and govern the IT project portfolio to deliver measurable business value on time and within budget
  • Define, track, and report IT KPIs and service performance metrics

Your qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Extensive leadership experience in IT within consumer goods, retail, or sporting goods environments
  • Strong expertise in SAP ERP, enterprise architecture, and complex system integrations
  • Proven track record supporting D2C e-commerce platforms and digital ecosystems
  • Solid understanding of Business Intelligence, analytics, and modern data platforms
  • Deep knowledge of IT architecture, infrastructure design, and security principles
  • Experience managing complex, international IT landscapes with internal teams and external partners
  • Strong ability to translate business strategies into scalable technology solutions
  • Advanced project and change management capabilities
  • Financial acumen with experience managing and optimizing IT budgets
  • Strategic yet hands-on leadership approach with a strong results orientation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels
